Located in the heart of the Willoughby community, we offer a unique program that is creative, educational, and fun, rooted in our values as a Christian preschool. We are committed to the belief that children in their early years learn best through play. Our program's most important function is to facilitate play and the exploration of God's world using all the senses. At Discovery Station, children are given the opportunity to experience dramatic and symbolic play in the housekeeping corner, puppet center, and block construction area. Creativity is encouraged through art, play dough and music activities. Fine motor and problem solving skills are developed with toy and art activities. Outdoor play facilitates cooperation and gross motor skills. Group and story time teaches self-discipline, cooperation, kindness, and the ability to attend and contribute to a group while building self-esteem.
